Scope

As part of the Columbia Pike revitalization plan, the Penrose Square project will include a grocery store, additional ground level retail, high-rise residential units, and a large public square at the center of this urban corridor. The design will include pedestrian connections, outdoor marketplace opportunities, streetscape character, and the design of a large public green space at the center of the plaza. Construction will begin in 2008. STUDIO39’s project involvement began at the conceptual planning phase and will continue through construction documentation and administration.
