Scope

The green roof design for AKA is located atop the roof of a 9-story building, providing panoramic views to Arlington and Washington, D.C. An arbor planted with flowering vines, sedum plantings, and an outdoor seating area complete the design. Project involvement included conceptual site design through construction administration. Initially designed as an 80 unit apartment building, it is now an extended stay hotel.
