Part of a network of linear parks along Alexandria's waterfront, Rivergate City Park provides waterfront access to the Potomac River for both the residents of Rivergate and the general public. Volleyball, jogging, picnicking, and other passive recreational activities are accommodated. Historical boat docking stones are incorporated in the design of the park.
