As part of the Columbia Pike Revitalization plan, the Penrose Square project will include a grocery store, additional ground level retail, high-rise residential units, and a large public square at the center of this urban corridor. The design process involved the detailed planning and layout of the pedestrian connections, outdoor marketplace opportunities, streetscape character, and the design of the large public green space at the center of the plaza.
