This project, located within historic Old Town Alexandria, replaces two blocks of dilapidated World War II-era housing with a mix of market town homes and affordable housing units. Brick and iron detailing throughout compliment the area's historic architecture. Each block is centered on a courtyard, complete with seating and play areas for residents of all ages. Two new private streets ease passage through the site, with specialty paving serving as a traffic-calming device.
