The intimate courtyard, between the two wings of the renovated condominium building, functions as a place of leisure and passage from the lobby to the pedestrian garage access at the rear of the plaza. The pavestone path is accented on one side by cobalt blue pavers. A small grouping of Giant Cane Bamboo grows atop a mounded berm to one side of the pathway. The bamboo creates a delicate backdrop to the space while providing adequate privacy to plaza level units. The stream of bamboo continues across the path in a gentle arc, dividing the plaza area into two alcove seating spaces. Brushed stainless steel furniture was used in these areas enhancing the modern, minimalist feel of the space. The remaining planting beds consist of repeated banding of hardy shrubs and groundcover.
