YeeHaw – Gingertown DC gives the Holiday Spirit a Western Twist

12.03.2014

Another year, another EPIC Gingertown!

Local A/E/C firms put their creative talent to the test with this year’s Western-themed Gingerbread city.  “Gingertown Junction” was comprised of 52 lots and featured creations such as the “Rollodeo Arena”, “Gumball Music Hall”, and STUDIO39’s own “Big Red Homestead.”  Founded in 2006 by David M. Schwartz Architects, Gingertown is a charity event hosted in Dallas, Atlanta, Nashville, and Washington, D.C. The resulting Gingerbread masterpiece is split into sections and divided among local hospitals, health care facilities and community support organizations to help spread the message of joy and hope during the holidays.  The public can get a glimpse of the magical town during the below public viewing times.
