David W. Judd joined STUDIO39 in 2004. David brings over 22 years experience in a diversified range of projects. He is responsible for all aspects of project development from schematic design to design implementation. He specializes in developing understanding of site potential and producing effective solutions that fit within the context of the site. Prior to joining STUDIO39, David worked in Atlanta, Georgia where he led design teams on large scale office park master plans, multi-family apartment developments, municipal recreation projects and well as several church and school renovation projects. David also previously worked in Tokyo, Japan designing national park projects and large scale commercial developments.
David grew up with a love of things growing watching his grandparents tend to their garden. His interests grew during high school while installing and maintaining landscapes. Clients appreciate his attention to detail as well as his development of effective, workable solutions. David enjoys figuring out how spaces interact, both aesthetically and constructability-wise, and how relationships of different components can be combined to create successful solutions.
